The challenge
Momentum Spark had no existing audience and a very limited budget. As part of the organizing team, I was responsible for building brand awareness from scratch, attracting sponsors, and driving event sign-ups for a live pitch night targeting students, faculty, and local industry guests.
What I created
*
What I created *
Paid media
Meta ad campaign on a minimal budget, resulting in 25 event sign-ups.
Carousels & static posts
Sponsor thank-you posts, event promotions, and team spotlights across Instagram and LinkedIn.
Sponsor outreach
Designed a sponsor proposal, wrote and coordinated outreach communications that contributed to nearly $4,000 in secured sponsorships.
Reels
Conceptualized and produced multiple Reels, two of which became the highest-performing content on the account during the campaign period.
What I took away
Momentum Spark was a full-cycle campaign that required a broad set of skills working together. On the creative side, I developed a consistent visual identity across platforms and produced short-form video content that drove real engagement. On the strategic side, I ran paid social, managed sponsor communications, and contributed to outreach that converted into nearly $4,000 in partnerships.
The campaign reinforced my ability to work across content creation, community building, paid media, and brand communications simultaneously. Building an audience from zero and seeing it translate into a live event with real sponsors and real attendees is the kind of outcome that goes beyond a classroom brief.
